Psychometric Analysis
Psychometric tests are an integral part of any recruitment process. They are aimed at checking for any bias or contradictions in personality. This is evident from the way the questions are grouped together so as to be similar to one another. In this way, the reactions to similar situations can be averaged.
The questions posed in personality and psychometric tests broadly fall into two categories. In the first, a situation is described and you are asked to choose your reaction to it from several choices. The second category will contain groups of statements and you are asked to choose the one that you most identify with.
We train the candidates to deal with the uncertain nature of the tests. We drive home the point that there are no right or wrong answers; we encourage them to do their best to imagine themselves in the scenario described and choose the answer that most closely describes their response or the one that they feel least uncomfortable with. Most importantly, we train them to not get intimidated by the sheer nature of these tests. |
